I participated in the TUIG Market in Antwerp, where I presented my illustration works in a lively, community-driven market environment. TUIG brings together local and international artists, designers, and independent creators, creating a space where art, craft, and visual storytelling meet a broad and diverse audience.
At the market, I showcased a range of my illustrated works in printed formats, including small editions and original pieces. Engaging directly with visitors allowed me to observe how people interacted with the visuals in a physical setting and how storytelling, color, and character resonated with different audiences.
Participating in TUIG Market strengthened my experience of presenting illustration as a shared, social experience rather than a purely digital or gallery-based practice. It highlighted the importance of accessibility, dialogue, and atmosphere in how artwork is perceived and remembered.
This experience further supported my interest in exhibiting illustration within public and semi-public spaces, and in building connections between personal artistic practice, community, and everyday life.
