When I started this project, I asked myself: What does self-love truly feel like?
Loving ourselves is not just about saying kind words. Sometimes, it’s about pausing, turning inward, and embracing who we are. But what are the moments that make us feel like we are truly holding ourselves with love?

This animation was built on my personal reflections and emotions. I began with sketches, using a character I had been developing for a while. I explored how they would hold themselves, how it would feel to be embraced by their own warmth. And I realized—hugging yourself is, in a way, holding your heart and your emotions close.

To bring this feeling to life, I refined my work using Rapido, ensuring the movement felt fluid and organic. In the final stage, I carefully selected a color palette that best captured my emotions and aligned with my artistic style. Every detail was designed to evoke a sense of warmth and comfort.

“My Valentine Is Me” is not just a reference to Valentine’s Day—it’s a reminder that the love we give ourselves is the most powerful and meaningful connection we will ever have.
